We sadly report the passing of Richard Lair. I met Richard in Thailand when he was working on Operation Dumbo. I was honored when he asked me to be a reviewer for the “Elephant Care Manual for Mahouts and Camp Managers.” The manual is available here on the Elephant Care International website:
